Review:
When I first contacted Scout Boats and told them I wanted a flats boat in Wyoming, they thought I was nuts. After the laughter I explained that I was to use the boat on the flats of Wyoming reservoirs to chase Carp. The laughter stopped and I bought a boat. Anyway, I’m not the first to chase carp, but I am the first to have a flats boat in Wyoming.
I grew up around boats and have somewhat a knowledge base to help in my evaluation. They say the two happiest days of a boat owner’s life are the day he buys it and the day he sells it. Needless to say, I won’t be selling my Scout Costa 170. Basically, I love the boat almost as much as I love my wife. Stu and the Scout boat team put a lot of thought into this boat. From the optional front casting platform to the rod racks, every part of this boat was designed to perform. My only complaint is there are no drink holders.

If you have any questions on this boat please do not hesitate to call me at the Platte River Fly Shop 307-237-5997.
