Introduction:

The Sage XP is a fast action fly rod designed to be light in hand yet capable of generating a great deal of line speed and quick line pick up.

First Impressions:

I was pleased and suprised at how strong the XP was relative to its light weight. In casting a 450 grain line I was able to roll the sinking head up and lift it to start the cast with ease.
